I’m the Washington State Liaison for Moms For America. I believe in conservative values and spend a lot of my time finding ways to promote and fight for those causes, such as keeping comprehensive sex ed and Critical Race Theory our of our classrooms, protecting life, and protecting our God-given Constitutional rights. I live in Washington State, so there is almost always something to keep fighting for (or against).
I became a cop at the age of 23. Unfortunately, a couple of injuries ended my career way too early with a medical retirement. But, God knows what he’s doing, and His plan for my life was better than I could have imagined. Now I get to write at home while homeschooling my three kids.
I still have a passion for law enforcement. Partially because it’s in my blood- my dad is a retired police officer after 25 years of service- and partially because it’s in my home- my husband is a current police officer. Staying involved in the law enforcement world by supporting local police, advocating for their mental health, and promoting fair legislation is important to me.
I’m now active with the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police, serving as my local lodge (Lower Columbia Lodge 12). I’m a trained peer and spouse support advocate for first responders and have volunteered with several organizations in that capacity. I have written hundreds of articles for Law Enforcement Today, Law Enforcement News Network (no longer in publication), Red Voice Media, and others.
I have also written two children’s books- Police Man Daddy and Police Officer Mommy– and a young adult novel- From Day One. I have a couple of other writing projects in my spare time (which is not much!).
